Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival

Posted by on in News
It is such fun to see our photo and Jazz Band headlining for the Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival which runs from 25-28 May 2022 at the Baxter Theatre. Unfortunately, our performance on 27 May 2022 is sold out. Bookings for the other performances can be made via Webtickets.
The Cape Town Big Band Jazz Festival is renowned as one of South Africa's premier showcases of musical youthful talent. The Festival showcases school, university and community jazz and big bands and has attracted musicians from in and around South Africa as well as from the United Kingdom and the USA. The Festival is hosted in collaboration with the South African College of Music. #weareproudlypinelands #lovemusic #jazz #bigbandjazz #capetown #capetownjazzfestival #capetownjazz

Managed iPads in the Class

Posted by on in News

We have been piloting using class sets of managed iPads for the last 2 years and have already shown that the iPad is a powerful tool that can make teaching and learning more stimulating.

Just a few of the takeaway enhancements from these pilot projects include: spontaneity, convenience, multipurpose, more engaging and active learning, student centred, increased access to information, paper-saving, interactive and dynamic tasks, connecting learning with the real world, authentic outcomes, communication skills enhanced and increased technological literacy. #weareproudlypinelands #learning #ipads #teaching #realworld
