The PHS Music Department held their annual Gala Music Concert at the Baxter on 22 August 2014. The concert was a phenomenal success that showcased the Music Department’s exceptional talent and their dedication to hard work.
The entire week was a highlight for the PHS Music Department. The bands scored as follows in the Tygerberg International Eisteddfod: Senior Marimba Band (96%), Senior Wind Band(94%) and the Jazz Band (90%) and the school's Vocal Persuasion were runners up in the High School Jam final competition at Grand West on Saturday.

The senior Dramatic Arts students entered into the 2014 Artscape Drama Festival. They were required to write a play around the theme of democracy and present a ten minute audition in May. Numerous schools in the Western Cape auditioned and the PHS play, entitled “Will You Vote for Me?”, was selected as one of the finalists.
The students will be performing on Thursday 14 August at The Artscape Arena at 18.00. Tickets are available at the Artscape box office and through Computicket:
