The Pinelands High School Choir consists of learners from all grades. During 2008, our membership grew from 46 to 58 learners.
The choir performs at many Pinelands High School functions; for example, the Sunset Concert, cultural assemblies and Speech Night, as well as our Gala Music Concert at the City Hall. During 2008, we also performed at Grove Primary School, Nassau Choir Festival and the Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Family Day at the V&A Waterfront.
At the 2008 Cape Town Eisteddfod, the PHS Choir received a gold diploma for the most outstanding choir, as well as a silver cup award with distinction.
Choir rehearsals are held three times a week, and when necessary, over the weekends.
