Pinelands High stages an annual dramatic production, which alternates between a musical and a play each year. Productions are chosen carefully in order to give pupils interested in performing exposure to different kinds of drama.
The 2011 production was the Broadway musical Hairspray, presented during the second term. In the last few years, the school has also staged the David Kramer/Taliep Petersen musical District Six, and Roger and Hammerstein's Oklahoma!, as well as the plays Rebecca (based on the book of the same name by Daphne du Maurier) and the farce Noises Off.
