CABARET:“THE REEL DEAL” 

The Pinelands High Cabaret group is off to the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown! This year’s Cabaret, entitled “The Reel Deal”, will be performing at the Fringe Festival. Featuring songs from movies such as High School Musical, Lord of the Rings and Bridget Jones’s Diary, Cabaret 2008 will get your feet tapping. 

The Cabaret ensemble going to Grahamstown comprises some of the school’s most talented singers, accompanied by the school’s Jazz Band. 

Cabaret is produced and directed by Mr Garth Kayster, a music teacher at the school. Mr Kayster, an ex-Pinelands learner, was one of the founding members of Cabaret, and has been involved in its direction for the past three years.  Garth completed a B.Mus Education degree at UCT, and is an avid composer and arranger. 

Rock along with the Pinelands High School Cabaret ensemble, performing at Commemoration Methodist Church, High Street, Grahamstown on the following dates:

• Monday 30 June at 12:00
